Course Description
By common consent, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756 – 1791) is one of the greatest composers of opera who
ever lived. Altogether, he completed twenty-three examples in all the genres that were then current. This
course will cover the seven great operas of his maturity. No specialist knowledge is needed for full participation, just
an interest in listening to opera and finding out more about it.
