Rottingdean Whiteway Centre

The management committee regularly reviews our guidance to ensure that visitors and staff stay safe whilst in the Whiteway Centre. You will always find our latest risk assessment on this page.

From Friday 10th December the government has reintroduced the compulsory wearing of face coverings in public buildings, including community centres such as Rottingdean Whiteway Centre. Additionally, with the increased risk of Covid 19 transmission, we are reminding anyone visiting the Centre of the measures we have in place:-

  • we have sanitiser stations throughout the building,
  • our caretakers sanitise furniture and equipment between meetings and/ or classes,
  • anyone coming into the Centre must wear a face covering unless exempt.
  • our QR poster remains in place for visitors to check in.
  • we encourage organisers/tutors to keep the rooms well ventilated,
  • we ask everyone to wash their hands frequently,
  • we advise sensible social distancing.

Thank you, and stay safe,

Lynn Hutchinson, Chair RWC
