A course for complete or nearly beginners who want to learn how to get by in everyday situations (ordering food, shopping, providing personal information, asking for and giving directions, etc.). We aim to introduce you to the basics of the Italian language with a taste of authentic Italian culture. The emphasis will be on listening and speaking but will also include some grammar and written work. |

Nicla Mazzoni is an Italian native speaker, passionate about Italy, its language, culture, history, traditions and, obviously, FOOD! She is from Livorno, and she currently lives in Bologna, so her online classes are an unique chance to connect with Italy, live, whilst improving your Italian from home. Nicla has a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Foreign languages and literatures (University of Pisa - 2005) and a Certificate to teach Italian as a second, foreign and additional language (Ditals II - University for Foreigners of Siena - 2009). She is a qualified teacher with extensive teaching experience in a wide range of settings, face to face and online. Since 2002 she has been teaching to adults, children and teenagers, in Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, UK (Brighton) and she is now in Bologna. Her adult classes in local Colleges and Community centres ranged from complete beginners to conversation and advanced levels, she also teaches to younger students, from primary school pupils to GCSE and A level preparation. Currently all her classes are online, taught from Italy. |
