Course Description

This is a continuation course for those who have already attended a course with Louise.

This exciting and wonderful opportunity to introduce you to British Sign Language (BSL) across 10 weeks, starts with raising awareness, lipreading, eye contact and the hand gestures and alphabet that are BSL. We will quickly build confidence as a group around everyday deaf social chat. We’ll work towards communicating with each other based on different weekly topics such as feelings, the weather, hobbies, etc.

Most importantly, we’ll have a lot of fun! Expect games, laughter and friendly conversations as we grow in confidence and knowledge.

NB. This is not a BSL-accredited course.

Half term - Monday 27th - Friday 31st May 2024
