Sussex has always been a popular destination for generations of artists. However, with the advent of the railways access to different seaside towns and villages as well as the picturesque countryside became much easier. Artists, some well known and others talented but unrecognised, have produced a large body of work with their representations of Sussex.
I was a trained nurse but after having my family, I was lucky enough to be able to follow my passion in Art History. I gained a BA in Cultural Studies and an MA in Art History both from Sussex University.
I have been giving talks on Art History for the last fifteen years.
