A Fresh and Fun look at Musical Rudiments! Come prepared to shake your stuff! (hand percussion supplied) Sing (bring any kind of voice in any state!) This isn't a jazz theory class! Nor is it a loud drumming session. The instrumentation of the group can certainly develop and expand to include any instruments, but the priority will always be that anyone can attend, and that it all begins with the rhythm and the voice. This session is designed to be both enlightening about the basic ingredients of music, but also fun and good for the mind, body and soul. Julian will guide us through the subtleties of small hand percussion, rhythmic accents, and the use of the voice in a friendly and supportive musical environment. |
