This exciting in-depth Tuesday afternoon session is for those who would like to take their drawing and painting to a new level utilising the rich history and knowledge of the great schools of art. In a relaxed way you will be exploring the techniques of old and new masters and with help, learning how to apply them to your own work.

This Spring we will be focusing on Expressionism and how to add mood and atmosphere to your art. Topics covered will be brushwork, colour, subject matter, artistic licence and narrative. Themes will include landscape, still life, and more. We will be looking at the Expressionist movement as a whole well as artists from different eras who produced paintings that are strikingly moody and individual.
