Summer is traditionally a quiet time at Rottingdean Whiteway Centre, but behind the scenes the Management Committee is getting ready for the start of the autumn term:-

• Our Covid Risk Assessment has been reviewed in line with the latest Government guidelines. We are recommending that masks be worn whilst moving around the Centre, but, if required, can be removed whilst seated. We ask visitors to wash their hands frequently and use the hand sanitisers provided. We are suggesting maximum numbers in each room to allow everyone to feel safe.  
• A programme of courses has been agreed and publicised in various local village magazines, on Facebook, Nextdoor and twitter. Most are planned in Centre, with some on zoom. In the event of further lockdowns we will, where possible, move classes onto zoom.
• Students can now register on this, our new website, pay online by debit or credit card, and receive automatic confirmation of their bookings. 
• Room bookings for single hire and regular groups can be booked and, when approved, paid online. 
• A programme of redecoration is underway, and the courtyard is being resurfaced. More information to follow.
