For those who have completed three years of French and who wish to progress further. Textbook to be advised when the course begins.

1400hrs to 1600hrs
A general course designed for new and exsiting members. Using many media, we work experimentally in landscapes, still life, the study of natural and found objects and costume life. Outdoor sketching in good weather and visits to exhibitions are also organised by the class.

1315hrs to 1445hrs
For those with good conversational skills. French is changing all the time and we aim to provoke lively discussion, increase your vocabulary and polish your grammar! Materials supplied by the tutor; students contribute towards cost.

1500hrs to 1700hrs & 1930hrs to 2130hrs (two classes) - (Waiting List - Evenings)
The course, taught by a local freelance artist, illustrator and designer, is open to beginners and experienced students and consists of initial drawing, composition and watercolour technique. Students may work on their own project or one set by the artist who will individually guide students through their projects and will give in-depth demonstrations.
